Assume the same digital watch as discussed in this lecture, and draw a sequence diagram that shows an interaction forsetting the time one hour and two minutes ahead. Make sure you draw it by using StarUML.


Draw a statechart diagram (using StarUML) for a garage door controller.

The statechart diagram should have four states: ‘Closed’, ‘Opening’, ‘Open’, ‘Closing’.
Upon entry into each state, a particular action takes place over the garage door motor:

• The motor starts running forwards upon entry of the Opening state.
• The motor starts running backwards upon entry of the Closing state.
• The motor stops running upon entry of either the Open state or the Closed state.
• The controller cycles around the four states in a clockwise manner.
• Pressing a button initiates opening or closing.
• The ‘opening Completed’event triggers a transition from Opening state to Open state.
• The ‘closing Completed’event triggers a transition from Closing state to Closed state.
• When closing the door, however, there is a safety mechanism: if the button is pressed while the door is closing, then the motor immediately changes its direction, causing the door to start opening again.
