Ⅰ. IntroductionAs Michael Porter (1990) mentioned, globalization has given business the opportunity to configure its activities so as to take account of locational and other advantages arising from difference in resources, skills and economic conditions in different parts of the world. Globalization’s economic meaning is the integration of the world economy from each nation. It is a trend of being a one market of the world economy because the artificial barrier such as product, service, capital, labour, and information is abolished. It is a new huge organization of accelerating the move of product, service, and information. Michael E. Porter argued that a nation can create its own endowments to gain a comparative advantage. Created endowments include skilled labor, the technology and knowledge base, government support, and culture. Porter`s Diamond of National Advantage is a framework that describes the determinants of national advantage. This diamond represents the national playing field that countries establish for their industries.
