A Romantic Life

Jane Austen was born on December 16, 1775, in a small village in Hampshire, England, where her father was a minister in the local church. she was the seventh of eight children of the Reverend George Austen and his wife, Cassandra. Jane was mainly educated at home by her parents. In her short life, Jane only ever lived with her family.
Her childhood was very happy. Not only could she play with the other children in her family, but she also got to meet many boys who stayed with the family while her father taught them Greek and Latin. But Jane`s lifelong friend and favorite playmate was her older sister, Cassandra, named after her mother. With Cassandra and the other children, Jane often wrote and performed short plays and played charades.

Jane Austen은 1775년 12월 16일, England에 Hampshire라는 작은 마을에서 태어났으며, 그곳에서 그녀의 아버지는 지역 교회의 목사였다. 그녀는 Reverend George Austen과 그의 아내 Cassandra의 여덟 자녀 중에 일곱 번째이었다. Jane은 그녀의 부모님에 의해 집에서 주로 교육 받았다. 그녀의 짧은 생애에 Jane은 오로지 그녀의 가족과 살았다.
