Amazexodus is a new word that expresses the current situation in which many people, including executives and employees, are rapidly retiring or turning over from Amazon. As can be seen from the interview in the article, these turnovers and retirements are not unique to Amazon. The outbreak of the COVID-19 and the end of the pandemic have facilitated changes in the labor market, which are leading to unexpected results. If such unprecedented retirement seems to be caused by a change in the workers' perceptions, a close examination of human resources and a consideration of the management methods are essential for the prosperity and maintenance of the organization. Therefore, this essay will examine the Great Resignation from the perspective of human resource management, review Amazon's human resource management method considering the external environment and ultimately present a blueprint for the changes Amazon needs for improvement.
