In the experiment, the diffusion of ions occurring in diffusion cells was observed through conductivity measurements. The conductivity increases with time due to the diffusion of NaCl. The concentration of 1.0M is 10 times higher than that of 0.1M, but there is no significant difference in the diffusion coefficient. Diffusivity is not related to the concentration of the solution to be diffused and depends on the temperature or type of solute at which diffusion occurs.
