1. Objective
Bernoulli's equation has been used under the assumption that "steady flow", "incompressible fluid", and "no losses from the fluid fiction". Verify that the Bernoulli’s equation is applied even in the presence of pipe accessories. If not applied, find the pressure difference according to the head loss.
2. Theory
1) Continuity Equation
The continuous equation is a formula using the law of mass preservation, which states that the mass is the same in any part of the pipe. In future experiments, if the same liquid flows in the same two parts, the flow rate divided by the density of each weight is the same in any part.
2) Bernoulli’s Equation
In fluid dynamics, the relationship between pressure, flow velocities, and potential energy in two different locations is described as the law of energy conservation at two points when a fluid flows along a flowline.
