It is well known that Mao Zedong is a hero in China. In fact, the portrait of him in Tian’anman Square is a representation of the respect that Chinese people have towards him. Mao Zedong was a politician, revolutionist, soldier, and a communist. He had achieved several significant historical events in Chinese history and these events contributed to china both positively and negatively. Therefore, several assessments can be made from his achievement. Deng Xiaoping who was a politician leader of the communist party after Mao Zedong died said “Mao was 70% right, 30% wrong.” In fact, Mao Zedong achieved important events such as creation of the People’s Republic of China and reformation of Chinese characters.참고 자료
