How Japan`s Earthquake Affects Korean Businesses
Recent Japan`s earthquake and following Tsunami have shaken up the entire nation. The aftermath of exploded nuclear power plants have left its citizens in even deeper despair and fear. With covers of every single newspaper depicting miserable scenes after the disaster. When the earthquake first occurred, i was overwhelmed by its scale and concerned about the damages and the pain it would inflict on people. I felt so sorry for the victims and Japanese who must be shivering in terror. Having heard there has been a great loss of human lives and property, all I could think of is that Japan`s economy would be harmed. However, I was not quite able to think throughly about `how` this is going to be a problem for running businesses failing see the bigger picture. A few days later, I read the article in industry section which turned on my light bulb. I realized what I have learned about how economics affects business during class time could actually be applied to what is happening in Japan now.
