Korea Wave has a favorable influence upon Korea.
Since the end of 1990s, Korean TV dramas, films, and music have become immensely popular abroad. We called this phenomenon “Korea wave (Hallyu)”. This spreads over computer games, food, fashion and even language and is now broadly disseminated from Asia to America and Russia and in terms of diversity of contents. The background of this could be not only the advancement of technology and science but also the open-door policy. Young people, especially from East-Asian countries, such as China, Japan and Taiwan, have been enthusiastic. It is true that Korea has a good opportunity to inform about Korean culture. And this Korea wave actually brought advantages to Korea in 3 parts; image of Korea, Korean economic and Korean language education.
