이 연구는 초등학교에 배치된 스포츠강사들의 학교생활 중 겪는 갈등상황과 이들이 이에 대해
어떻게 극복하는가를 알아보기 위한 연구로 2015년도 G교육대학교 초등교육연수원에서 보수교육
을 받은 초등학교 스포츠강사 142명을 대상으로 조사 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
첫째, 초등학교 스포츠강사들의 학교생활 역할갈등은 보통수준으로 높지 않았다. 둘째, 초등학교
스포츠강사들의 학교생활 역할갈등은 전체적으로 남자교사보다는 여자교사가, 연령적으로는 20대
가, 근무경력으로는 1년이상 3년미만의 교사가 가장 높게 나타났으나 그 수준은 보통이었다. 셋째,
역할갈등에 대한 하위요소에 대해서는 성별, 연령별, 근무경력별 모두 스포츠강사 제도가 안고 있
는 역할갈등에 매우 높은 역할갈등치가 나타났다. 넷째, 각각의 역할갈등에 대해 이를 어떻게 극
복하는가에 대해서는 남녀 모두 개인적 역할갈등, 학생지도 역할갈등, 제도적 역할갈등에는 노력
요인으로, 그리고 근무환경 역할갈등, 인간관계 역할갈등, 의사소통 역할갈등, 업무역할 에 따른
역할갈등에는 협력요인으로 대처반응하는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 연령에 따른 역할갈등 시 대
처반응형태는 30대, 40대는 개인적 역할갈등, 학생지도 역할갈등, 제도적 여건에 따른 역할갈등에
는 모두 노력요인으로 대처반응하나, 근무환경 역할갈등, 인간관계 역할갈등, 의사소통 역할갈등,
업무역할 역할갈등에는 모두 협력으로 대처반응 하는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 근무경력에 따른
역할갈등시 대처반응형태는 개인적 역할갈등과 학생지도에 대한 역할갈등은 근무경력에 상관없이
모두 노력요인으로 대처반응하였고, 근무환경에 따른 역할갈등 시의 대처반응형태는 협력요인으로
대처반응하였으며, 인간관계 역할갈등, 의사소통 역할갈등, 업무역할 역할갈등 시에는 5년 미만을
제외한 전 연령에서 협력요인으로 대처반응하였고, 제도적 여건에 따른 역할갈등 시에는 1년 미만
은 협력, 1년 이상 3년 미만은 노력, 5년 이상은 모두 노력과 타협요인으로 대처반응하였다.

영어 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out what kinds of role conflicts sports instructors,
working at elementary schools, experience and how they cope with these role conflicts.
For this, 142 sports instructors, attending the supplementary education held in the training
institute of G university of education in 2015, were surveyed and the results were as
follows. Firstly, sports instructors' role conflict was not high but at the average level.
Secondly, male sports instructors were higher in the level of role conflict than females.
Also, sports instructors in twenties showed higher level than any other age group.
Furthermore, sports instructors who had working career from more than l year to less
than 3 years indicated higher level than any other sports instructors. However, role
conflicts according to gender, age, and working career were at the average level. Thirdly,
role conflict caused by the system of sports instructors demonstrated high level in terms
of the sub-factors composed of gender, age, and working career. Fourthly, related to
gender, endeavor factor was applied to cope with individual, student guidance, and
institutional role conflicts, and cooperation factor was dealt with to surmount role conflicts
of working environment, human relation, communication, and duties by both males and
females. Fifthly, related to age, endeavor factor was applied to overcome individual,
student guidance, and institutional role conflicts, and cooperation factor was dealt with to
overcome role conflicts of working environment, human relation, communication, and duties
by thirty and forty. Finally, related to working career, endeavor factor was applied to deal
with individual and student guidance role conflicts, and cooperation factor was used to
manage role conflict of working environment regardless of working career. Also,
cooperation factor was utilized to handle role conflicts of human relation, communication,
duties by all sports instructors with the exception for those who had working career of less 1 year. In terms of institutional role conflict, cooperation factor was applied by those
having working career of less 1 year and endeavor factor by those having working
career from more than 1 year to less than 3 years. Also, endeavor and cooperation factors
was employed by those having working career of more than 5 years.
