본 연구는 온라인 지원 시스템 기반의 ‘창의적 문제해결 모형’(CPS model)을 활용하는 ‘통합형’ 대학 수업 모형의 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 대학생의 창의성 신장을 위하여 대학의 일반 강좌에 통합되어 운영되는 수업 모형을 개발하고, 형성연구 방법론에 따라서 제안된 모형의 강점, 약점, 개선점을 분석하였다. 먼저 관련 문헌 연구를 통하여 여섯 가지의 일반 설계 원리를 도출하였다. 다음으로 개발하려는 모형의 틀에 해당하는 세 가지 이론적 구성 요소를 확인하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 수업 모형의 상세 설계 지침을 도출하였다. 제안된 수업 모형에 따라서 교육 프로그램을 개발하고, A대학 학부 강의 수강생 33명을 대상으로 수업이 실행되었으며, 최종 면담 참여자는 10명이었다. 본 연구를 위하여 창의적 문제해결 과정을 소개하는 이러닝 컨텐츠와 창의적 문제해결 과정을 단계별로 안내하는 온라인 지원 시스템을 개발하였다. 온라인 지원 시스템은 창의적 문제해결 과정을 위한 발산적 사고와 수렴적 사고를 가능하게 하는 다섯 가지 사고 도구(brainstorming, attribute list, hits, PMI, evaluation matrix)가 포함되어 있다. 본 연구의 자료 수집은 면담을 통해 이루어졌다. 참가자의 반응을 분석한 결과, 본 수업 모형의 장점으로 ‘블렌디드 학습 환경의 제공,’ ‘팀 프로젝트의 실행,’ ‘CPS 지원 시스템의 활용’이 확인되었으며, 약점을 고려한 개선점으로는 ‘창의적 문제해결을 위한 사고 도구의 선택 기회 제공’, ‘창의적 문제해결 활동에 대한 충분한 안내’, ‘적절한 문제해결 일정’, ‘창의적 문제해결 활동의 결과물에 대한 평가의 실시’가 제안되었다. 본 연구에서 제안된 개선점을 바탕으로 추가적인 형성연구를 통하여 수업 모형을 최적화하면서, 모형의 효과성을 경험적으로 확인하는 후속 연구가 요구된다.

영어 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated instructional model for Creative ProblemSolving with an online support system in a collegiate course, and to improve the principles andguidelines of the model by the formative research methodology. A model was developed by following three steps: finding out general principles from the relevant literature reviews; extracting theoretical components for the model; and finally, developing specific guidelines from those theoretical components. Six general design principles and three theoretical components could be identified and a model was developed with a bunch of specific guidelines. A college-level course was developed and implemented for investigating the strengths and weaknesses of the model and suggesting improvements of the model by the formative research methodology. Research site was an undergraduate course in A university and the participants were 33 students and the final interviewees were 10. The instructional model included e-Learning contents for explaining the main characteristics and thinking tools of the Creative Problem Solving, and an online support system which guided the CPS process and provided such convergent and divergent thinking tools as brainstorming, attribute list, hits, PMI, and evaluation matrix. The participants' responses in the course satisfaction survey and interviews were analyzed to investigate the strengths, weaknesses, and improvements of the model. The strengths included ‘providing blended learning environments’, ‘implementing a team project’, and ‘utilizing the CPS support system’. The weaknesses and improvements included ‘making participants select appropriate thinking tools for CPS’, ‘explaining the CPS process in detail’, ‘providing a flexible and proper schedule for problem solving’, and ‘evaluating the final product from the perspective of creativity.
