- superficial inflammatory process involving primarily the epidermis
- treatment goal is to relieve pruritus, lubricate the skin, reduce inflammation, and prevent or control secondary infection

2. Impetigo 농가진
- a contagious bacterial infection caused by b-hemolytic streptococci or staphylococci.
- it occurs most commonly during hot, humid months
- can occur because of poor hygiene
- 벌레 물린 곳, 원래 rash가 있던 곳 등 이차적으로 나타날 수도 있음
- 얼굴과 입주변이 가장 흔함
- the lesions begin as vesicles or pustules surrounded by edema and redness. The lesions progress to an exudative and crusting stage. After crusting, the initially serous vesicular fluid becomes cloudy, and the vesicles rupture, leaving honey-colored crusts covering ulcerated bases.
