Have you heard about global warming? Have you thought about what will happen in the future generation? Many scientists are worried that something very serious is happening to the earth. It is becoming warmer. It is called global warming. The global warming is an increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere, especially a continued increase sufficient to cause climatic change (Blissfield and Black, Muslin). Its effect is ice caps melting, oceans rise, flooding, and destruction of citied and other location. Recently, global warming has become a very big issue in the world. The greenhouse gases, air pollution, and cutting tree are common causes.
First, the greenhouse gases can be another cause of global warming. The greenhouse gases are any of atmospheric gases that contribute to greenhouse effect (Blissfield and Black 19). The greenhouse gas effect looks like a greenhouse. Greenhouses look like a small glass house. It is used to grow plants, especially in the winter. The greenhouse helps trapping heat from the sun so the glass panels of the greenhouse let in the light but keep heat from escaping. This causes the greenhouse to heat up, much like the inside of a car parked in sunlight, and keeps the plants warm enough to live in the winter. As results, the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere behave much like the glass panes in a greenhouse. The greenhouse gases problem is sunlight enters the earth’s atmosphere, passing through the blanket of greenhouse gases, so some of energy oases back into space, but much of it remains trapped in the atmosphere by the greenhouse gases, causing our world to heat up so most greenhouse gases are created when we burn fossil fuels for energy. The trapping heat reason is carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, and chlorofluorocarbon (Blissfield and Black 15, muslin 9).
