Pipe flow literally deals with the flow within the pipe. A pipe that is often seen in everyday life is a round pipe, so even in the pipe flow theory, the cross section is explained according to the circular pipe. Physical quantities mainly used in pipes are the diameter of the cross section and the length of the pipe. fluid density, viscosity coefficient, velocity, etc. When the fluid enters the pipe, it meets the surface of the pipe and shear stress is applied by viscosity. A boundary layer is thus created. When this boundary layer grows to a certain level, it no longer thickens, which is called fully developed flow. The pressure at the inlet is greater than the pressure at the outlet, and the pressure difference can be defined because shear stress due to viscosity acts in the opposite direction to the flow of the fluid in the flow in the pipe.
