Habit 1. Be Proactive (자신의 삶을 주도하라 – 자신의 삶에 책임감을 가져라)
Change starts from within, and highly effective people make the decision to improve their lives through the things that they can influence rather than by simply reacting to external forces
Self-awareness(자의식)의 뜻은 the ability to think about your very thought process로 This is why we can evaluate and learn from others’ experiences as well as our own.
This is also why we can make and break our habits, enable us to stand apart and examine even the way we “see” ourselves—our self-paradigm, the most fundamental paradigm of effectiveness. Because of the unique human capacity of self-awareness, we can examine our paradigms to determine whether they are reality- or principlebased or if they are a function of conditioning and conditions.
Social Mirror(사회적 거울) The reflection of the current social paradigm tells us we are largely determined by conditioning and conditions.
