Ebola virus disease(EVD) is the epidemic disease caused by the Ebola virus. EVD is associated with severe and fatal hemorrhagic fever which is flu-like fever with symptoms of internal bleeding that usually result in the death of the infected people.

The Characterization of virus
Ebola viruses belong to the genus Ebolavirus, and the family Filoviridae, and the order Mononegavirales. There are five species in the genus Ebolavirus. Each of these are Bunibugyo ebolavirus(Bundibugyo virus), Reston ebolavirus(Reston virus), Sudan ebolavirus(Sudan virus), Tai Forest ebolavirus(Bai Forest virus), and Zaire ebolavirus(Ebola virus). Among these, only Bundibungyo, Sudan, and Ebola viruses are the only viruses that can infect human beings. These viruses had caused over 20 outbreaks between 1976 and 2014.
