Enhancement in the electrochemical performance of LMBs by COF electrode additives
The TMC cathode (NCM811/carbon black/PVdF binder = 90/5/5 (w/w/w) with 4 wt.% TpBpy-COF, areal-mass-loading = 20.0 mg cm−2) was assembled using the ASEI-coated Li metal anode (thickness ~ 100 m) to obtain the COF–LMB. Meanwhile, a control LMB was prepared by assembling the cathode (without the TpBpy-COF additive) and Li metal anode (without the ASEI layer).
