In most of the democracies, where equality is essential, many institutions provide equal opportunity for the minorities, and the affirmative action is also included in these schemes. Affirmative action is an active effort to improve employment or educational opportunities for members of minority groups and women, and it is also common on campus. However, affirmative action for equal opportunities on campus cannot be justified for the following three reasons: It leads to another discrimination, it is difficult for students to adapt and achieve high academic achievement, and it may develop a worse sense of minority.
To begin with, affirmative action can lead to reverse discrimination or another discrimination. Students in the beneficiaries' class are left out of the priority list just because they are not a minority despite their efforts. Of course, it is true that the children of the beneficiary class have more opportunities for education, but no one can disparage their efforts.
