I agree that homework is a fundamental factor of learning which supports further understanding with two reasons. First, homework can assist level-differentiated task. Homework can sometimes be too easy or too difficult for students who have a different level. Therefore, if we design level-differentiated homework, students who are in a different level can learn what they really need.
