Abstract
This report wrote about Voice over Internet Protocol. VoIP is a technology which converts sound informations to packet form and send it as an IP method to the internet which is different from past telephone system that passed on sounds by circuit switching technology. But, recent VoIP means a technology that able to sounds, data and video informations to be sent in the IP based internet environment.
Internet telephone is categorized by their mobility to corded internet telephone and mobile internet telephone. Corded internet telephone is a voice communication service uses a high-speed communications network in fixed place and mobile internet telephone is a voice communication service that offers telephone service by mobile internet network.
Nowadays internet telephone is rapidly spreading because popularization of smartphone, expansion of wireless internet network and launching of various internet telephone apps(applications).
