‘The Allegory of the Cave’ is a short story where Plato gives his brother a lecture about the enlightenment or ignorance of human condition. He assumes some prisoners stuck inside a cave. Behind them is a fire and in front of is a screen. As tied tightly, all they can see is nothing but the shadow play by operators. Therefore, shadows are reality for them. Then, Plato supposes the release of one prisoner. He would be overwhelmed by the fact that what he has believed as the actuality is nothing but a shadow
