Leonardo da Vinci moved to Florence from the Tuscan village of Vinci. Leonardo was in the period of ‘Renaissance humanism’. People in Renaissance humanism believed that there were no mutual exclusive polarities between the sciences and the arts. But Leonardo thought differently. He studies in science and engineering are as impressive and innovative as his artistic work.
