본문내용
What is leadership? Many people believe that leadership is simply being the first, biggest or most powerful. Leadership, however, in organizations has a different and more meaningful definition. According to John C. Maxwell, well known author, defines leadership as influence (http://en.thinkexist.com/quotations/leadership/), one life influencing one another. It is not just about the titles, positions. A leader is normally considered as one that sets direction in an effort and influences people to follow that direction. How he/she sets that direction and influences people depends on a variety of factors. Moreover, influential leaders have their own style of leading people, but also have certain traits and characteristics in common.
Warren G. Bennis, an American scholar, organizational consultant and author stated that "Leader is the capacity to translate vision into reality".
