1. Students will successfully ask and answer personal questions such as experience or
activity that they have had.
2. Students will be able to use the present perfect tense appropriately in a real-life
communication.
Enabling Objectives:
1. Students will comprehend a simple dialogue played on a tape recorder.
2. Students will be able to differentiate between past tense and present perfect tense.
3. Students will be able to express their experience using present perfect tense.
4. Students will comprehend and produce the preposition ‘since’ and ‘for.’
5. Each student will ask his/her partner about the experience the partner had before, and in turn, answer to the questions appropriately.
6. Students will comprehend and produce necessary vocabulary and tense forms of a verb for this topic.
7. Students will be able to give their reasons of moving to the U.S. using appropriate vocabulary.
