환자를 위한 음악치료의 목적과 방법을 세우기 위해서는 적절한 치료시기와 환자의필요성에 적극 의존해야 한다. 음악 치료의 역할로서 'emotional' 역할 치료가 우선 되어야
함은 물론 정신, 신체적, 사회적, 인지적 발달 과정에서 정상적인 생활을 하지 못하므로 이때
초래 할 수 있는 여러 가지 요인들을 음악이 개입함으로서 위기 요인을 감소시키고, 긴장의
감소와 이완, 고통과 통증의 관리, 고독감과 고립의 방지, 자아 존중감의 증진, 공포나 stress
감소, 개인의 삶에 대한 긍정적인 면과 건강에 대한 축하 등 환자의 새로운 삶에 대한 정신
사회적 지지는 물론, 정서적 안정을 도울 수 있다고 본다.
영어 초록
Establishing objectives of Music Therapy aligned with the patient dependson current condition of and conferring needs of the patient. Major role of
music therapy primarily relies on emotional remedy. Assuming the patient can
hardly discipline his/her mental, physical, cognitive conditions and associated
social skills, music comes in and decreases negative factors including
distress and strains along with controlling adverse emotions such as
loneliness and isolation. Music helps the patient to relieve his/her stress and
anxiety. It helps increasing the patient’s level of self-esteem and enhances
positive elements of life, therefore providing supportive ambience and stability
to the patient.
This session is primarily consisted with Gestalt Music Therapy, which
includes Gestalt Music Therapy and Improvisation Music Therapy. The session
was in process with 10 sessions. From the first session to the last session,
Gestalt Music Therapy was applied in levels. Broad use of Improvisation
Music Therapy and associated techniques along with verbal technique were
applied accordingly. In conclusion, educational elements including harmony,
rhythm, beat and playing instruments (vocabularies to music) along with
psychological elements inspiring the patient to acknowledge behaviors and
complications are combined and consisted during this session. Not only
acknowledging the patient’s current condition is emphasized during the
session, but also therapeutic verbal technique followed by discussion is
applied to treat the patient (music to vocabularies). Imagining techniques that
describing occurred figures with music after listening to certain melodies
(music to music), composing the patient’s negative perceptions towards
certain objects in dictions and discussing the composed materials are
consisted likewise.
