한국어 초록

문자로 구성된 이야기 시나리오는 시각 그리고 청각적으로 다시 해석함으로써 영화가 된다.
영화란 영상과 소리를 통해 문학적 이야기를 재배열하고 번역한 이야기로 볼수 있다. 비주얼 스
토리텔링(Visual Storytelling), 즉 영상적 이야기하기는 영화를 구성하는 시각, 청각, 이야기의 요소
를 절충하는 방식을 말하는 것이다. 이야기는 영화뿐 아니라 모든 예술에 공통적인 요소라고 볼
수 있다. 문학이 문학인 것은 문자를 통한 서술방식 때문이고, 음악이 음악인 것은 음표를 통한
멜로디 기법 때문이다. 영화가 영화인 것은 이야기요소 때문이 아니라 시각적, 청각적 요소의
배열 때문이다.
<괴물>에 보면 한강 둔치에 괴물이 나타나 사람들이 대피한다. 한 여자는 헤드폰을 꽂고 음
악을 듣고 있다. 그녀는 결국 괴물이 오는 걸 모르고 앉아있다가 괴물에 희생된다. 이 시나리오
의 내용을 글자로 읽는 것과 영화로 보는 것은 현격한 차이가 있다. 영화는 시각과 사운드를 다
활용하기 때문에 글자보다 훨씬 더 사실적으로 느껴진다. 먼저 사람들의 비명소리와 왁자지껄한
모습을 보여준다. 이어 감미로운 음악과 여자의 귀에 꽂힌 이어폰의 모습. 그녀는 정신없이 음
악에 몰두되어 있다. 두 장면의 교차와 이어서 괴물에 의해 낚아채어지는 여자의 모습. 이러한
기법은 영화만이 구사할 수 있는 특별한 방식이다.

영어 초록

Screenplay with letters is became the movie with image and sound by way of interpretations. A movie
is assumed as the translated story in terms of recompositing the image and the sound. Visual storytelling,
then, so called making the story visually is about the ways that the visual combines with the aural and
the elements of story.
Story is considered as the common element of not only film, but also arts in general. What the
literature is literature is because of the narration and also what the music is music is attributable to the
melodic composing by musical notes. What the movie is movie is due to the fact of the dispostion of the
visual, aural elements.
Story has a temporal relationship with narration. Story has three temporal modes such as present, past,
and future. Time during story is repeated, condensed, and expanded. We should know the temporality in
this manner of storytelling by the way of the visual and the aural.
Mise-en-scene is translated as the meanig of putting on the scene in french. In other words, it
designates to the scene dispostion, scenery design, frame construction scheme within frame. Mise-en-scene is
the method of constructing the scene by way of the scenic design, cinematography. It is delivered all
through narrative space such as psychology of character, event, etc., on utilising the topos as a style of
telling stories. Henceforth, all technical things, like set decoratons, props, color, lighting, costume, gesture,
lense, movement, size, angle, are functioned symbolically and all contents delieniated in storyboard is
performed along the line works.
