Abstract

한국어 초록

이 논문의 목적은 교수설계와 기업교육의 관계를 밝히고, 21세기의 길목에서 등장하는 교육의 새로운 패러다임을 파악하여, 이런 패러다임에 적합한 교수설계이론과 관련모형을 정리하여 기업교육을 위한 시사점을 찾는데 있다. 먼저 교수설계가 무엇인지 확인하고 기업교육을 인적자원활동의 맥락에서 파악하여 교수설계와 기업교육의 관계를 정리했다. 정보화시대에 필요한 교수설계와 기업교육의 패러다임은 무엇인가를 인식하기 위하여 기존의 기업교육에 대한 관념을 창조적으로 파괴하여 기업교육의 Paradigm Shift를 이끌어와야 한다. 이 패러다임에 맞는 교수설계이론을 논의하기 위하여 new paradigm에서 교수교류이론(ITT, 즉 제2세대 교수설계이론)을 논의하고 기업교육에의 시사점을 찾아보았다. 다음에는 구성주의 입장을 반영하는 교수설계이론으로 Bransford의 문제기반학습(Problem-Based Learning)과 구성주의적 ISD모형이라고 할 수 있는 R2D2를 확인하고 기업교육에의 시사점을 찾아보았다. 우리 교육실천가들은 옛 Paradigm에서 나온 지식기반을 거부하는 것이 아니라, ITT나 PBL을 중심으로 하는 새로운 Paradigm의 교수설계이론들을 통하여 새로운 요구에 부합하는 상당히 다른 모습에 통합되도록 재구조화해야 한다. 이러한 교육의 Paradigm Shift에 잘 적응할 뿐만 아니라 생성적으로 변화를 실천하기 위하여 교수-학습 설계자들과 기업교육 또는 인적자원육성 전문가들은 보다 적극적인 역할과 비전을 가져야한다.

영어 초록

The purpose of this article is to identify the relationship between instructional design and corporate education, identify the new paradigm of education at the corner of the twenty-first century, and then find the implications for corporate education in terms of instructional design theories and models which are compatible with the new paradigm.
In this paper, first of all, instructional design was defined along with related terms and corporate education was discussed under the context of human resource activities. Then, the relationship between instructional design and corporate education was explained based on the previous discussion. In order to find the new paradigm of instructional design and corporate education in the age of information society we need to "creatively" destruct the old ideas or stereotypes on existing corporate education and training. Then, we could identify the Instructional Transaction Theory(ITT) or the second generation of instructional design theory(ID2) and Problem-Based Learning(PBL) and also R2D2 Model based on constructivism as the instructional design theories and models suitable to the new paradigm.
The implications of the ITT, PBL, and R2D2 were discussed for the purpose of implementing them in the Korean corporate education/training settings.
Educational practitioners should not completely reject and discard the old paradigm of corporate education and instructional technology, but incorporate most of the knowledge generated by previous instructional design theories because the knowledge should be restructured into substantially different configurations to meet the new needs. The professionals (including instructional designers/technologists) in the field of corporate education and human resource development need to build new vision and roles to meet the paradigm shift and environmental change.
Corporate education or human resource development program is to help create a proper fit mission and task between the company and the department; to be necessary for survival in the face of a reality that is changing more quickly than ever before; and to make training value-added by providing solutions to critical business issues.
