Our team found out that there are 4 major risks involved in Seven-Eleven’s supply chain strategy. For starters, there will be more administrative cost related to micro management because more care will be needed. Secondly, additional labor education expense will be generated because current micro supply and demand match system is quite complicated. Thirdly, stores could not react elastically if there is traffic interruption, because there are several delivers with small volume in a day. Finally, transportation expense will be increased due to frequent delivery.
