F. Autonomy on the marketing approach: Sales consultants are not required to cold-call on the prospective accounts. They could choose any marketing approaches which they think would work the most effectively. Sometimes, possible clients would not appreciate how sales consultants approach to establish a new business relationship by cold calling. Sales consultants are to consider the atmosphere of his/her assigned territory and expected resistance and to choose the most applicable and plausible marketing tool. The possible pool of marketing tools may be suggested during training and education session by the management or by sales consultants’ own development.
