The term American Revolution refers to the political cataclysm in 18th century. In this revolution thirteen colonies in North America joined together as United States to break free from the British rule. The upheaval started when these colonies rejected the British rule and then subsequently expelled British officials. By the end of year 1774, each of the thirteen colonies had transformed into autonomous state and broken free from the British rule. To reinforce their rule over these Colonies and to reacquire the lost territories, the British sent its troops in an attempt to correct the worsening situation forcibly. As a result, in the Second Continental Congress these thirteen states declared that they will join their forces together to defend their right of self-governance and will face the British in an armed conflict.........
