The commercial success of zeolites is largely due to the steady discovery of materials with novel pore topologies that have offered valuable opportunities in developing new process technologies, as well as in improving the existing processes.
Thus, detailed knowledge of the physicochemical and catalytic properties of newly discovered zeolites, together with their structure elucidation, is of fundamental importance is finding the successful industrial application of the materials.
