1 Introduction
1.1 Background
When designing a structure, we must consider the environmental factors such as loads and constraints acting on the structure, not just design. To prevent the load from deforming or fracturing, we have to know the mechanical properties of the materials used. By conducting the tensile test, which is one of the representative experiments, we can obtain the mechanical properties required for the design. In this experiment, we will proceed with the following experiment [Strain gauge test, Hydraulic tensile test (Bar Type), Thin plate tensile test(Plate Type)].
1.2 What is the Tensile test
Tensile test is one of the most basic test among industrial tests conducted for the purpose of obtaining basic data on mechanical properties such as stress, strain, etc. Usually, a test piece having a parallel part such as a round bar or plate is subjected to tensile load in the axial direction to measure load and deformation.
