[Reasons Why Communication Protocol in Smart Factories Should Be Standardized]Communication Protocol for Smart Manufacturing
Today, the era of low growth and low consumption has arrived. There is a variation in work between workers in the factory, and as people age, the number of skilled workers decreases, making it difficult to respond properly when problems arise. What has emerged from this problem is a smart factory where machines and humans can coexist and make things by themselves. The smart factory refers to a factory in which sensors are installed in facilities and machines in the factory to collect and analyze data in real-time to monitor all situations in the factory and to control itself. Advanced countries are making efforts to establish a smart factory ecosystem where technologies and manufacturing converge together to create synergy.
