Xero is a beautiful New Zealand headquartered accounting software company. As the CEO of Xero defined above, Rod Drury, says, Xero produces cloud-based accounting software for small and medium sized businesses (Deloitte Top 200: Visionary Leader - Rod Drury, Xero, 2017).
Xero was listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange in June 2007 with its first public offering to $ 15 million. Over the years, Xero has rapidly built a global software company as a service to support thousands of small and medium-sized businesses. It also raised more than 350 meters of funding from a group of leading American technology investors.
Its products are based on a SaaS model (software as a service ) and are sold by subscription based on the type and number of entity the subscriber manages.
