1. Understand Bode plot to analyze the frequency response.
2. Understand the meaning of gain margin and phase margin in frequency domain analysis.

1. Draw the Bode plot for the given open-loop system by using CEMTOOL commands, and discuss the gain/phase margin and stability.

◆Conclusion
The experiment was to draw a Bode plot, and to determine the stability for two given systems. To fully understand the margin, we need to learn Nyquist's criterion. According to the Nyquist stability criterion, if the contour doesn't surround pole in s-plane, the mapped path must not surround the (-1,0) point in the GH plane for the system to be stable. As the gain increases, the mapped path passes to the left of (-1,0) point, becomes unstable. Thus, the system is stable in the range of loop gain such that the open loop gain is less than 1 at a frequency of -180 degrees of the open loop function.
