I. Introduction
There is a debate about the size of Government for some century between scholars. They debated about the positive and normative roles of government and different policy instruments by government. It is important question because it can be an indicator of the direction that government’s role in state. Nowadays, the Public Administration counter the question that the government should be bigger or smaller after New Public Management. I will debate about the question by history of government size and opinion about the size of Korean Government in various perspective.
