The game industry is being spotlighted worldwide, and game revenues will reach 86.1 billion dollars by 2016 (Heij et al. 2012). However, there are serious problems with game addiction, and many people are suffering from those. The situation is the same in Korea, and it is very serious among young people. Therefore, the Korean government has issued a “shut-down” policy that makes it impossible for young people to play computer games between midnight and 6 am. However, there is opposition to this policy, and it is a controversial issue now. The problem, whether to control the computer playing or not, is important because this habit can influence the rest of their lives. In my opinion, playing computer games should be controlled for young people because it can harm them for life. In this essay, the opposition to this policy will be considered. Then the problems with this opposition and reasons for supporting it will be discussed.참고 자료
