On last September, a Korean T.V. program about a child’s brutally raped incident was broadcasted and brought rage to Koreans which even led to evening news. The incident was about a nine-year old little girl, who was kidnapped by a drunken man. As a result, not only was she raped, but 80% sex organs were damaged even though she was treated in hospital. What caused Koreans more indignant was the unsatisfactory judgment result that the criminal was only given 12 years of imprisonment due to simple reason that he was drunk. This incident is just only one of many child sex crimes occurring presently in Korea and clearly shows how immediate solutions are needed to further prevent children from disgraceful crimes. Hence, interests and solutions are needed for parents and Korean government to take actions which are educating children with sex education at early age, operating school bus to take children home safely
