본문내용
Counterpoint and fugue are frequently used in this piece. And it was composed in the early 1740’s. Including this music, most of Bach’s works involve polyphony. Since he was a 17th century musician, polyphony widely became well-known after the Baroque period. Imitation, canon, fugue, and variation are the main features of counterpoint. These are repeatedly and incessantly used in compositions of today. Imitation, a successive repetition in different voices or timbres of a single musical idea, is used in Die Kunst der Fuge.
