Merits of Study Following Teachers

Each person has their own idea and reasons behind their opinion about studying. Some think studying with teacher’s guidance is better, others think learning by oneself. Both have advantages and disadvantages, but I support the former.

First, teachers can serve as a useful guide for learning. They analyze examination question trends and let students know them. Thus, students can spend time focusing on the more important things to consider. Also, errors are corrected as it comes. So students can find their shortcomings and supplement them.

Next, it avoid unnecessary loss of time in studying. As with reducing needless waste of time, it leads to more opportunities for acquiring other knowledge. If students study with teachers, their study hours tend to be fixed. They keep their frequency of learning steadily.

In addition, teachers can provide students with whole-person education. It is not effective for students to be single-minded about knowledge from textbook. Learning is a course for equipping students for life. If they study only through textbooks, they will not prepare hydra-headed thinking skills. So studying with teachers is much helpful for students.
