본문내용
The U.S.A. education system is unique because it is decentralized. In the U.S.A., the teacher usually has autonomy in their own class, and they do not like it when someone intervenes or uses scripts. Besides principles, teachers, or policy makers, other people like private textbook creators and distributors or businessmen can have enormous influences on a school. I think that in a large part many of these characteristics of the U.S.A.A. education system are due to it being decentralized. This decentralization also affects leadership roles within the educational system. Thus, identifying the legacy of the education system in the U.S.A. will help us to develop educational leadership in the U.S.A.
In order to identify the legacy of decentralized education within the U.S.A., I will first present the basic concepts and philosophies of the decentralized education system from a historical perspective. Secondly, I will examine the social change of the education system, and the results that arose during the time of the schools development with a focus on educational leadership. Thirdly, I will examine the influence and results of weak leadership. Finally, I will address contemporary or modern attempts at leadership.
