-Guaiac test
The stool guaiac test finds hidden (occult) blood in the stool (bowel movement), even when you cannot see the blood yourself.
In the most common way of doing a stool guaiac test, a small sample of stool is placed on a paper card and a drop or two of testing solution is added. A color change is a sign of blood in the stool.
①Prepare
Do not eat red meat, any blood-containing food, cantaloupe(멜론의 일종), uncooked broccoli, turnip(순무), radish(무), or horseradish(홍당무) for 3 days before the test. These foods can sometimes interfere with the test.

-Temperature sensation test
Often omitted if pain sensation is normal. ++
Use a tuning fork heated or cooled by water and ask the patient to identify "hot" or "cold."
Test the following areas:
1.Shoulders (C4)
2.Inner and outer aspects of the forearms (C6 and T1)
3.Thumbs and little fingers (C6 and C8)
4.Front of both thighs (L2)
5.Medial and lateral aspect of both calves (L4 and L5)
6.Little toes (S1)
