 In 1985 - Toyota Motor Corporation(TMC) announced their plan that they settled in Kentucky.
 In 1988 July - Toyota Motor Manufacturing,USA(TMM) began volume production in Georegtown, near Lexington.(200,000 Camry sedans/year)
 In 1992 - TMM was expected to supply 240,000 of the all-new Camrys.(It made that TMM constituded one-third of the total American car market)
 In 1992 March - TMM start producting wagon version.

Toyota Producting System(TPS)
Toyota had always striven for better cars for more people. It mean Toyota made flawless quality, affordable price with perfect timing. however, after Second World War, most Japanese was poverty so they coundn`t afford a car. Thus Toyota was challenged to cut cost dramatically. Toyota must have variety, quality, and timeliness with reducing cost. TPS solved Toyota`s answer this challenge.
TPS aimed at cost reduction by eliminating waste and reducing cost. TPS want easy to know about waste so TPS had to assumptions about production environments, one is Just-in-time(JIT) the other one is JIDOKA
