본 연구의 목적은 협동적 미술활동이 유아의 창의성과 셀프리더십 발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보는
것으로 연구대상은 충북에 소재한 2개 공립유치원에 재원 중인 만 5세 유아로 실험집단 20명과 통제집
단 19명의 유아들이다. 실험집단은 협동적 미술활동을 경험하였고 통제집단은 개별미술활동만을 경험
하였다. 실험은 1주간의 사전검사, 8주간의 협동적 미술활동, 1주간의 사후검사 순으로 진행되었으며
연구도구로는 전경원(2001)의 .유아 도형 창의성 검사(K-FCTYC).와 최자윤(2009)의 .유아 셀프리더
십 평가도구.가 사용되었다. 수집된 자료는 유아의 창의성과 셀프리더십의 사전.사후검사를 하나의
요인으로 하고 실험집단과 통제집단을 또 다른 요인으로 하는 반복측정에 따른 혼합설계에서 두 요인
의 상호작용효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 협동적 미술활동을 경험한 실험집단 유아들과 협동적 미술
활동을 경험하지 않은 통제집단의 유아들의 창의성과 셀프리더십은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것
으로 나타났다. 협동적 미술활동을 경험한 실험집단 유아들이 협동적 미술활동을 경험하지 않은 통제
집단 유아들보다 창의성과 셀프리더십이 더 향상되었다.

영어 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the cooperative art activity
on the creativity and the self-leadership of young children.
The subjects of the study were 39 five-year-old children enrolled in two public
kindergartens located in Chungcheongbuk-Do, who were in two classes, 20 children of
an experimental group and 19 children of a control group. The instruments used were
『Korean Figural Creativity Test for Young Children(K-FCTYC)』(Jeon, 2001) and
『Checklist for Self-Leadership of Young Children』(Choi, 2009). The experimental
group children had experienced the cooperative art activities while the control group did
the individual art activities. The procedure of the study included one-week pretest,
eight-week cooperative art activities for the experimental group and individual art
activities for the control group, and one-week post test. The collected data was
analyzed by ANOVA-repeated measure in split plot design.
The results of the study are as follows:
First, the results indicated that: (a) there were significant differences in creativity
and it's subordinary areas such as the fluency, originality, openness, and sensitivity
between the experimental group and the control group. In other words, the creativity of
the experimental group children were improved more than those in the control group
children. (b) there were significant differences in self-leadership and it's subordinary
areas such as the behavioral strategy, compensation strategy and thinking strategy
between the experimental group and the control group. In other words, the
self-leadership of experimental group children were improved more than those in a
control group children.
In conclusion, the cooperative art activity could promote the creativity and
self-leadership of young children.
