본 연구는 초등학교 사이버가정학습의 효과성을 분석하기 위해 튜터 역할의 측정도구를 개발하고 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 개발 방법은 먼저, 국내․외 선행연구를 바탕으로 문헌을 고찰하고, 튜터와 관련된 국내․외 선행연구를 참고로 측정 문항을 개발하였다. 개발된 측정도구는 문항분석, 예비검사, 본 검사 등 세 차례의 검증과정을 거쳤다. 그에 따른 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 최초 개발된 전체 82문항 중에서 문항 타당성, 표현의 적절성 등에 관한 내용 검토를 하고 사이버가정학습 담임교사와 사이버가정학습을 수강하는 초등학생의 문항 검토를 받아 수정․보완한 결과 모두 69문항을 최초에 개발하였다. 둘째, 여러 차례의 검토 과정을 거쳐 내용타당도를 검증받은 예비검사 문항은 최종 문항분석을 실시한 결과, 7개 문항을 제거하여 62개 문항만 탐색적 요인분석에 사용하였다. 탐색적 요인분석을 한 결과, 4개의 요인 39문항이 추출되었다. 셋째, 예비검사 결과 추출된 39문항과 추가한 11문항 등 모두 50문항의 측정도구를 본 검사에서 사용하였다. 넷째, 본검사의 탐색적 요인분석 결과 4개 요인 27문항이 추출되었으나, 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 4개 요인 21문항이 최종적인 초등학교 사이버가정학습 튜터 역할의 측정도구로 개발되었다. 즉, ‘학습내용 및 평가 전문가’ 요인 6문항, ‘동기유발 및 상호작용 촉진자’ 요인 6문항, ‘학습과정 및 방법 안내자’ 요인 4문항, ‘시스템 및 커뮤니티 운영자’ 요인 5문항 등 총 21문항이 최종 측정도구로 개발되었다. 확인적 요인분석에서 AGFI, GFI, CFI, NFI, RMSEA 등 모두 권장수용수준 이상으로 값이 나타나, 개발된 튜터 역할의 측정도구가 적합하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

영어 초록

The purposes of this study were to develop a measuring instrument to play the roles of a tutor to analyze the effectiveness of elementary cyber home learning and to test its validity and reliability. The methods employed in the developmental efforts include reviewing related previous studies home and abroad and developing measuring items based on the previous researches about a tutor home and abroad. The developed measuring instrument went through a three- stage testing process of item analysis, preliminary test and actual test. The results can be summarized as follows: first, the initially developed 82 items were reduced to 69 after reviewing their contents for item validity and appropriateness of expression and revising and supplementing them based on the review results by the teachers in charge of cyber home learning and the elementary school students who participated in cyber home learning. Second, the final item analysis was conducted for the items of preliminary test, whose content validity was proven after a series of review process. As a result, 62 items were used in exploratory factor analysis after eliminating seven items. The exploratory factor analysis identified four factors and their 39 items. Third, the 39 items identified from the preliminary test were used in the actual test along with additional 11 items. And fourth, another round of exploratory factor analysis during the actual test identified four factors and their 27 items. After confirmatory factor analysis, however, four factors and their 21 items were developed as the final measuring instrument to play the roles of a tutor in elementary cyber home learning. The 21 items include six from “learning contents and evaluation experts,” six from “motivation and interaction facilitators,” four from “guidance for learning processes and methods” and five from “system and community operators.” The developed measuring instrument to play the roles of a tutor turned out to have values higher than the recommended level in all AGFI, GFI, CFI, NFI and RMSEA in confirmatory factor analysis, which result indicates that the instrument is a proper one.Key words : cyber home learning, tutors’ role, scale
