Korean disabled women experience double and multiple discriminations in various aspects of living throughout their life history. Disabled women are more alienated and discriminated from the contexts of education, employment, marriage, and social activities compared with general women as well as even with disabled men in Korea. Disabled women are enrolled in schools and colleges at lower rate than disabled men and underemployed or unemployed at higher rate. Disabled women frequently experience discrimination and abuse in family life. A majority of old disabled women maintain destitute life under the poverty line. This study aimed to examine the extent to which Korean disabled women experience discrimination in various aspects of living compared with disabled men and secondly to examine which factors are related to the discrimination of disabled persons in Korea in four aspects of social living such as education, employment, marriage, and community living. Results from descriptive statistics suggest that disabled women experience more discrimination than disabled men in three aspects of social living, education, employment, and marriage. All of degree of disability(operationalized as need in help and inconvenience at going out), and socio-demographic factors(age, sex, marital status, household, educational level, employment, income, residence) significantly predicted the risk of discrimination in four aspects of social living.Key words: disabled women, discrimination, aspects of social living, life history
