Concern of the U.S about East Asia has been increased. Because economical power and military impact of many countries such as South Korea, Japan and China has gave bad or good effect to the U.S. This perception is shown in the report which is written by JASON T. SHAPLEN and JAMES LANEY. According to their report, “The United States is in relative decline, China is on the ascent, and Japan and South Korea are in flux. The implications for Washington are profound: Northeast Asia is home to three of the world’s 11 largest economies and three of its four largest standing armies.” Especially during 50 years, the U.S-South Korea relationship has been pretty successes after Korea War and Cold War. However, recently many issues of Korea Peninsula have discussed in the U.S. Particularly issue about North Korea’s nuclear system has argued with the U.S-South Korea. These issues, especially concern about North Korea’s nuclear system, will be affecting to New the U.S Administration’s policy toward the Korea Peninsula. About this issue is more specifically stated one of the CSIS reports written by JASON W. FORRESTER.
