1. 실험목표
1) To become familiar with BJT common base amplifier and emitter follower.
2) To measure the gain, impedance of BJT common base amplifier and emitter followers.
3) To compare the common base amplifier and emitter follower with each other in the point of gain and impedance.
2. 실험과정
(1) Calculate the parameters and find the operation point for given DC biased CB
a) Build the circuit as figure 8.1.
b) Apply DC supply 12V at Vcc. Measure I B ,I C ,I 1 and the VC ,VB ,VE between GND. Then fill the [Table 8.2].
c) Calculate the α, β, rπ, gm, Ai, Av (gm, rc) and fill the [Table 8.3].
d) Connect the function generator in series with C E like Fig. 1 and set Voff=0V, freq=1kHz.
e) Connect the oscilloscope in series with C2.
f) Decreasing function generator’s Vpp from 0.1V to 0.02V by 0.02V, record the Vpp value, where undistorted waveform( Vout ) appears, on the [Table8.4].
g) Calculate the maximum Vpp which BJT can be operated on the edge of saturation using Graph 8.1 and record on [Table8.4].
