Introduction
The purpose of this experiment is to learn the principle of bipolar junction transistor (BJT) and understand the amplifying and switching process of BJT. In the first experiment, we will measure the current of BJT and calculate the ratio of collector current to base current. Through this, it is possible to understand the amplification occurring in the active linear region of BJT. And in the second experiment, the function generator is used to understand the switching process that occurs between the saturation and cut-off regions of BJT.
BJT is a device that consists of three P-type and N-type semiconductors, and it has PNP and NPN types. The PNP and NPN type semiconductors operate in a similar way, except that the charge carriers are positive electron hole or negative electron. Since electrons move faster than positive electron hole in semiconductor, so NPN type transistor is normally preferred and used.

Experiment 1
실험 1에서 측정된 V_CE에 대한 I_C 값을 그래프로 나타내면 Figure 10과 같으며, Figure 9의 이론적인 그래프와 비교하였다.

결과적으로, Figure 9에서 V_CE에 따라 i_C가 선형적으로 증가하는 부분인 active-linear 영역을 Figure 10에서도 관찰할 수 있었다. 이에 따라, 실험 1에서 BJT는 active-linear 영역에 진입하여 증폭 작용을 한 것을 알 수 있었다.
