(I did not receive the experimental data related to color, so I wrote it by referring to the pre lab report. However, the offline experiment must have had the same result.)
The color of ammonia changed to yellow combined with Co2+ and there was no apparent color change in other metal ions.

2. Discussion

① The origin of the different Rf values of the used metal ions in this lab
Intermolecular interactions between metal ions and molecules of solvent or paper are all different, so each metal ions interact differently with two phases. Among the sample components, the component that is held strongly on the stationary phase moves slowly according to the flow of the mobile phase, while the component that is held weak on the stationary phase is carried quickly. In other words, this is because each metal ions have a different characteristic chemical affinity for solvent or paper.
